This forum lovessss to always say “lots of nepo kids come and go but only the talent sustains”

We are often given the example of Uday, Esha Deol, Tusshar, Zayed

The above star kids came at a time where audiences were changing. We weren’t going to just love someone just cuz they’re so and so’s kid. They all had nine lives that ran out and disappeared.

The generation after this. Was much smarter. They need to had to do a lot more to convince people they were worth it.

Alia’s career was crafted much more carefully compared to someone like Esha Deol - who got lots of chances but there was never anyone behind her “forcing” it to happen. She wasn’t shoved down and forced into projects. Alia is the epicentre point of this ideology. Now her nepo wali sakhiyan will also follow. Sara, Janu, Anu, Alu .... phoolo ka taroo ka sabka kehna hai ek hazar mein humari nepo raniya hai

Now when Varun and Arjun debuted they were touted to be the best among the younger lots. Not so much Arjun but he was in a better position at one point than the likes of Ayushman, Ranveer, Tiger etc

Their relevancy was justified on “they have talent”....... audiences turned a blind eye to the fact that this gen has more resources than the previous ones.

Varun was able to chance y’all that he has all hits even with films that had a “below average” verdict.

So my question is - if Varun and Arjun were soooo talented..... why did they fall now ?..... why did their stardom take such a huge hit that theyre Not in the top 5 anymore ?

When a Rajkummar fails everyone stops talkin about him and he is no longer important.

Varun and Arjun are also as useless as zayed and Esha. It’s just their Pr and team is smarter and learned from their mistakes.

They’re only getting work because of their names and that’s all. So anyone who thinks they’re still relevant because of talent needs to throw away these negative thoughts.

I m not here to defend Arjun or Varun , but it is not possible for anyone out there to be successful throughout their career. Whether u r talented or not u will fail at some point in life. So Arjun or Varun failing ain't any different from Kangana or even Amir failing. They all do . I think what differentiates the talented from non talented here is that the talented one will always make a comeback , the non talented one will perish.

You are having the opposite effect. I like all these nepo kids more because of your annoying posts.

People switch casting all the time

Shoojit and John threw Radhika Apte out of Vicky Donor cause she was too fat compared to Yami. Thats one incident. The only one incident I heard of Alia's was her for Katrina in Dear Zindagi. If you can rake Alia over the coals for that one incident than you have to criticize everyone.

Agree over all, especially about Alia, Arjun, Jahnvi. But Sara, Ananya, Varun are much better than Zayed, Tushar, Esha, Tanisha and that lot 😂

Though it is 100% true that they are just crafting this generation of nepos careers much more carefully, otherwise many of them (not all though) are just as bad

Yeah but people being rejected or removed because the director/producer doesn’t feel they are the best for the role (for whatever reason, whether we agree or not 🤷🏽‍♀️) is different to someone being taken just because they’re somebody’s kid

But if you’re a superstar your failures should be clean bowl your whole career and turn you into a has-been.

Varun isn’t any better than the likes of Sid right now. Even Malang did better business than most his new films

But if someone like Ayushman gave 4 flops in a row he would be thrown out of the industry.

Alia’s career is curated by Johar and others are trying same formula.

Agree with post completely. Even non talented ones like Arjun and Varun are able to maintain a “talented” image for long time.
