Isn’t Kareena supposed to be playing Jahanara who is sister of the both of them? In fact Jahanara is supposed to have some questionable scenes with Shahjahan- if they are brave enough to show it!

Aliaa will be the love interest of Vicky and janhvi of ranveer.

Bhumi getting the challenging role means she will also be the sister? I doubt Kjo would take Aliaa as a sister too when he already has Kareena.

Aliaa can’t be opposite ranveer cause his love interest has a short role I think cause she will die and the meatier role will be the one opposite Vicky. Bhumi and janhvi will have short roles compared to the rest and Anil.

i don't think alia's role will be that big, even if she plays the prostitute the part will only involve her to be vickys love interest, the main story is about dara shikoh vs aurangzeb

kjo even said that only ranveer and vicky have continuous long schedules, everybody else does not, so ranveer and vicky are playing the biggest roles

Sorry what questionable scenes what questionable relationship ??? That shah jahan jahanra affair was just a baseless court rumour which is refuted by all the historians. This shah jahan sleeping with his own daughter just because she resembles her mother is nothing but bullshit shah jahan was not a majnu or devdas as people usually like to believe he had an extensive sex life both before and after death of mumtaz with many concubine and wivies of his nobles. Please let us not spread some baseless rumoures. Jahanara was the best of all kids of shah jahan intact in the true sense it is she who deserved to rule. She became a motherly figure to all of them from mere age of 17 least people can do is respect it and not maling her

I am sorry i tend to get very sensitive about these topics and people believing anything and everything that is fed to them .My history loverself gets very agitated at times. But that no reason...

Well my knowledge is based from the books that i have read about mughals. you see documented facts novels written by authors who have done research before publishing their work

So yeah i guess i do know better ofcourse i don't claim to know everything but yes my knowledge about mughals history is certainly not limited to Google chachu.

For more insight there are many books like "daughter of sun " "mistress of thrown" "shadow princess " that gives an insight into jahanara s life in general the first book being an extensive research done on mughal history and woman of mughal era in particular. Also gives a great insight into characters of dara and aurangazeb. You can refer them.

If you read books and love History, the first thing you need to be aware of is how it always has various versions and that it depends upon who gets to say what....You need to be openminded to learn more about what you think you already know....One needs to keep on questioning and getting more information if you claim to be a History lover! There is so much more to it but since you said you are a History lover, I am sure I don’t have to go into anymore deets here...

I will just say this though...There is no such thing as facts in History- its more like your version, my version and then the actual fact! I am sure I don’t have to tell you that Google is nothing but people like you and me who claim to have read books and knew better, posting their own versions of it....So yes, you still don’t know any better than the google...

EDIT: Just noticed that you have edited your post.. Thank you for sharing these much needed tidbits...I may not be as passionate but I do love these historicals...and of course my main reason for being interested in Takht is no big secret either...:)
