The actor is taking no chances after the failure of has last film

Coolie No. 1 is a home production, so Varun Dhawan has a say in the editing.

After the failure of Street Dancer 3D, Varun Dhawan is leaving nothing to chance with his next release Coolie No.1. According to reliable sources, the actor plans to sit in on the editing of the film personally.

“There were many instances during the post-production of Street Dancer 3D when Varun felt things should have been done differently during the edit. But all his suggestions were firmly turned down by (director) Remo D’Souza.

"Coolie No.1 is Varun’s home production, so he has a voice in the post-production. He will sit on the editing with his father,” a source reveals.

It looks like Varun isn’t willing to take any risk after two successive failures in Kalank and Street Dancer 3D.

😆😆 Varun how about making the script strong, entertaining and engrossing.

Does he not trust his own father’s vision anymore? 🙄. I’m sure this article isn’t true, and I’m sure the whole purpose of this article was to say SD3 failure was Reno’s fault. But they are also inadvertently saying David Dhawan is incompetent.

Isn’t it releasing May 1 ?

David isn't incompetent. In fact he did a brilliant job with Main Tera Hero. It was his most entertaining film without Govinda. Judwaa 2? Not the same. Watch the two films side by side and it's pretty obvious someone was interfering in direction and editing. Sajid N wouldn't do it. But DD's sons could. It was so clearly visible that Varun did his manmaani with that film. Ghost direction if you will.

He thought if he can become Salman 2.0 then Govinda won't be a problem. But Govinda is another league. Making coolie again is a khud kulhadi pe pair rakhna. And ab jab everything is flopping, blame daddy dearest. Wah re wah.

Honestly David should've made films with a different actor. He doesn't need Varun to make a good film. Even Chashme Baddoor was more entertaining.

Varun should have known better than to sign on with Remo after the Race 3 debacle. I really wish he'd tell Papa and big brother "Thanks but no thanks" and get on with that Sriram Raghavan movie.
