Underrated gem | Qarib Qarib Single

I re-visited this gem of a film recently on Netflix, and it was an amazingly sweet love story! Humorous, relatable and fun!

Parvathy Thiruvothu is an outstanding actress. She and Irrfan did such a great job. Their chemistry was adorable too.

I notice Piku is adored by people, but this film is even better than that. One of the most underrated and underwatched films of the last decade.

Most of irfan's fims are underrated gems. Even Karwaan is good movie. Maybe not the best work of the south actor, but still I liked it more than chutiyapa bollywood dishes out.

They're both such great artists it's a treat to watch. After this movie or any starring decent actors like them, it's hard not to have jaw drop open when the current crop of Bollywood stars are called superlatives for their mediocre performances.

I am in love with this movie and this pair. They just made my heart sing. Watching this movie was like a very different experience....dreamy, poetic, touching, walking on clouds kinda feeling.

This movie was such a pleasant surprise, Irfan never fails to impress the viewers.

Piku was so bad that I still haven't been able to complete it, though I started both round about the same time.

Now that you've spoken of it, I'll rewatch this gem.

I didn't watch the movie but i liked the songs and Parvathy's voice. I played the songs on loop since the songs were out. I still listen to them.

Such a romantic dreamy movie....Irfan in his bestest form!
