You have to watch some south buddhes movies to see what they do with VFX. Those buddhes are of Govinda/Sanjay's age... off-screen they have Jeetendra like face but on screen their skin is as tight and glowing as a twenty year old guy's.

Har frame mein rehne ka laalach aur upar se har frame mein VFX... Film ki budget VFX ke table mein hi 50cr badh jaate hai.

Ab aise VFX older actress mein bhi use hue hote toh 50 saal ke actresses bhi 25 saal ke A-list actors se romance kar sakte.

I am not a fan of South indian movies, no disrespect to their craft but I don't understand the language and I don't get the vibe watching a dubbed movie because I have tried watching a few and it gives an unrealistic experience. Anyhow, I think I know what you are talking about and while reading that Rajnikant came instantly in my mind. Can't get over the fact that he was paired opposite Aishwarya in Robot. I looked at them off screen and then on screen and I was like wow, technology can do wonders.
