Does Homi bring out the best in Deepika?

I think 2 of DP's best performances have been in Cocktail and Finding Fanny. Apart from Piku and Tamasha, of course.

But Homi Adajania does have a knack of bringing out d best in DP. In Cocktail, her best performance till date, she totally gets into the skin of the emotionally raw and needy poor little rich girl. She abandons her statuesque pose and becomes raw, messed up, beguilingly grey.

What a performance! And from then on, DP becomes an 'actress' and no longer just a pretty face.

Secondly, I think she played a simple but emotional girl very well in Finding fanny. I just loved her performance there- underrated but excellent.
