Nominate the best in 21 categories to honor outstanding artistic achievements in a theatrically released feature-length Bollywood films in 2019.
Preparation for Vote
- Read the rules outlined below in entirety.
- Please note that only films originally made in Hindi language and released theatricaly are eligible for awards.
Ex: Saaho is ineligible because it is originally made in Telugu and dubbed in Hindi.
Drive / Soni are ineligible because they were directly released on Netflix.
- Shortlist of a few noteworthy achievements in various categories are provided in the "For Your Consideration" post below.
- Use YouTube to view clips of movies of your interest etc.
- Be Fair & Honest. We are not obligated to please any big egos of stars, award sponsors, producers, directors or production houses.
- Make your final decision.
OFFICIAL Ballot Submission
- When ready to vote, follow the subsequent post to retrieve the official ballot.
- Please submit the vote per instructions and the format. This is a painstaking manual tabulation process for the organizer to assess 21 categories in the fairest manner possible given the infrastructure constraints. Thanks for your understanding.
- No need to enter name of artists (ex. director, singers, technical ) unless asked. Most of the categories ask you to enter only the Film name. This is to make the tabulation process easy. When rolling up the final nominations, the host will list cite all the artists behind an achievement thoroughly.
- The voting submission deadline is February 14th 23:59 hrs (Pacific Standard Time). No ballots accepted after that.
OFFICIAL BALLOT Acceptance & Registration
- The host will monitor the thread periodically during the voting period to look for completed submissions.
- "Like" from the host, ImagineMe, is acknowledgment of a valid ballot acceptance that meets the BoIFA eligibility and submission requirements.
- Once acknowledged by LIKE, the host will register the Voter details, submission time and all the nominations for manual tabulation.
- Please note any nomination modifications done to the ballot after "Like" by the host will NOT be accepted. Therefore, only post when you are ready with your choices!
Grounds for Disqualification
- Submission from ineligible voters
- Submission with nominations for ineligible films.
- Ex: Nominating Saaho which is a Telugu film
- Submission of multiple ballots from the same member ID.
- Partial submission of nomination for only a few categories
- Ex: Only acting nominations but rest left blank...
- Submission of nomination for multiple films for one category
- Ex. Taapsee Badlaa / Saand Ki Aankh
- Submission past the deadline

The final award results (nominees & winners) will reflect the collective cinematic preferences of IF members. Therefore, vote for quality! This is our moment to stand out from the dozen award ceremonies that have clouded judgment for commercial reasons.
