Ranbir is always questioned for having a Disaster debut but still getting chances but why not Ranveer?

Saawariya total nett gross adjusted for inflation is 44 Crores and Band Baaja Baraat total nett gross adjusted for inflation is 29 Crores.

Not to forget that Band Baaja Baraat also had Anushka, who had already done two films during that time, one which was a Blockbuster debut with SRK.

It was just the low budget of Band Baaja Baraat which saved it from disaster tag.

Your last sentence answers your question. No one forced Ranbir to debut in large budget Diwali extravaganza. As oppose to BBB a first time directors movie. Made just in Delhi. Budgets matter. Especially these days 👌
