This is the same Shahid Kapoor who attended Star Screen Awards 2017 to accept "Nothing to hide" Award. He would have been placated with any award, his standards are not that high.. 😆😆

Understandable. The organisers cannot back off after promising the award to an actor, and hope for them to still perform.

Was it for Best Actor for Kabir Singh? Shahid was way better than Ranveer. Kabir Singh was not an easy character to play, even though I detest such men and found the movie to be deeply flawed. If Ranveer or anyone would've played KS, they would've screwed it up. And I enjoy Ranveer's performances.

Shahid was aggressive yet restrained. He was brilliant as Kabir Singh. I watched Arjun Reddy as well but felt Shahid was better than Vijay. Shame Shahid didn't win it, while last year Ranbir was winning for Sanju was okay and everyone was praising him. Double standards.

The scenes and dialogues were kinda comparison frame by frame copy, but that is what Venga wanted, but approach, very different. Kabir was more intense, while Arjun was more emotionally driven.
