Insensitive or just bad timing by PR team?

This is about some of the reactions on social media to Kartik and DP's dance videos at the airport where people feel they should be using their celeb power to raise their voice for the Hyderabad rape victim instead. But is it really insensitivity on their part of just bad timing by the film's PR team?

Rapes happen on a daily basis. We only wake up to it once in a while when one of them managed to get to the headlines. What celebs do is cash in on the trending topics to gain some browny points. Most of us will move on in a week or two back to our daily lives, working to earn our living and pay our taxes so these rapists can live a healthy life in the jail. So nothing is insensitive here, its just how things work. They just moved on sooner than the rest.
