Bewafaa was a remake of Ashok Kumar-Mala Sinha-Sunil Dutt movie Gumraah.The infidility issue was handled very tastefully.Plus Akki's character was so ridiculous Bewafaa.Which era is he from? A 60s hippy? In contrast, in the original the lover was played by Sunil Dutt who was portrayed very stylish and sophisticated from the beginning itself.Manoj Bajpai and his wife were a perfectly irritating couple. In Gumraah the blackmailing secretary is played by an actress who usually plays vamps. So there was some mystery.

Songs were good but the album overall was nothing exceptional. Besides, the movie was terrible from start till end.

Movie was terrible, Akshay's hair style was terrible, Manoj Vajpeyi was terrible with shamita shetty , they even had song like kehta hai kabutar . I still can't get over with my disappointment from this movie.
