This is scary....the pressure of showbiz is 😔
I have read in a book that victorian age noble women died young because they were forced to wear tight corset from a young age. When the corset is compressing your abdomen and lower chest, it lowers the expanding capacity of the lung. In a few year the lung permanently shrinks, so they can't handle even a small excitement, that's why they swoon at the drop of a hat. It changes some functions of the heart too. When a woman is giving birth, her lungs and heart is supposed to work at the maximal capacity, and since these women can't handle it, there were many deaths during childbirth those days.
Ileana D’Cruz said,”I was always a very self-conscious person and was picked on for my body type. I used to feel low and sad all the time but didn’t know I was suffering from depression and Body Dysmorphic Disorder till I got help. All I wanted to do was to be accepted by everyone. At one point, I even had suicidal thoughts and wanted to end things. However, all of it changed when I accepted myself and what I was going through. I think that is the first step towards fighting depression.” Ileana urged other women to save them from mental disorder or depression as it is okay for them to accept.
Are you all sure this is for real??? I mean do people really do this?? I mean WTH man! What have we become!!!!!!!!

She already has a great waist. It would be stupid of her to do such thing. She is damn perfect.

Deffo not Sara n Ileana, Sara looked the same in all the recent pics n Ileana doesn't have that perfect flat stomach too, n both of them are not at all insecure types to do that... It's got to be one of the surgery brigades... Mouni or Janvi
Sara at least doesn't look insecure about her body. Not sure about Ileana though. I just wondered because of the recent break-up factor. Don't think it's Janhvi, her and Ishaan seem to be going strong.
Any doctor here?.... Is it even possible to remove a rib and lead a normal life... Is a rib really a "spare"
I'm not a doctor but as another member explained, human beings have 12 pairs of ribs, that are connected dorsally to the vertebral column and ventrally to the sternum. These 24 ribs + 1 Sternum form the rib cage.
(Fun fact - About one person in 20 has an extra pair of ribs, making 13 pairs instead of 12.)
There's 3 types of ribs - True ribs (the first 7 pairs that are attached to both the vertebral column and the sternum), false ribs (the 8th, 9th and 10th pair that aren't attached to the sternum directly, instead they join the 7th pair of ribs) & floating ribs (the 11th and 12th pair, they are attached to the vertebral column at one end, but the other end is free).
From what I can gather, to perform a "waist thinning surgery" they would remove the floating ribs. The floating ribs play an important part in protecting the kidneys though, so it can't be risk free IMO. Plus ribs don't grow back so it'd be an irreversible decision. The surgery itself is an extremely difficult and risky procedure even if the surgeon is an expert.
2X post.
