Kabir Singh remains the top grosser of the year but it is a must for at least one of the bigger films in the last quarter to beat this film. It would be great if the three big holiday releases (War, Housefull 4 and Dabangg 3) all go over this film but if this film is still standing at number one position at the end of the year then no doubt it means another bad year for the film industry.
The top stars for the year are Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn and with a couple of releases to come its pretty much certain that the year will belong to Akshay Kumar. Kabir Singh and Uri - The Surgical put up the big numbers but these films did it without the big names. The top actresses have not really had releases this year and so far its Shraddha Kapoor who has had the best year with Saaho (Hindi) and Chhichhore.
