Wow I don't understand these collections. How is it even possible that they are so low?

They did fair bit of marketing, had a decent buzz I thought, the subject matter was funny and quirky, a feel good popcorn entertainer, involved cricket, based on a famous book, Sonam and DQ are both known faces...

Yet the collections can't go over 3 Cr.

Whhaaat? Someone explain these numbers to be pleej...

Film's collections have a zero factor.

Music was bad, so didn't get much mindspace anywhere. Also, the Romcom genre is as good as dead in Bollywood :( Jabariya Jodi, this one have all flopped.

Also, I know people loved DQ but I thought he was OK only. Felt the conflict in the movie was pretty weak. In the book, it's a series of things that lead to the big fight - but here they had to simplify it so wasn't as effective

Did anyone find Nikhil's character ruined? I mean in the book he was clear first cricket then girl.

Here Indian cricket teams captain whose team is under pressure, WC is coming up, his captaincy is under threat, bowlers are not bowling well, one member is sabotaging. Yet he so much time flirting around the girl, making dinner for her

people dont have money to watch any movie..they will wait for the right movie

I enjoyed the movie. It's entertaining.

DQ has had a lacklustre career so far even though I liked Karwaan but if it continues like this then he'll return to South cinema sooner rather than later
