I don't think its Shah's fault that no one had more money than him to buy the awards.. Luckily later, Ranveer, Amir, Ranbir, Ayushman all started to earn enough to get them one of the little trophies.. Broke the monotony a bit

I know u like arguments... but I am just telling u that a LOT of mainstream actors BYCOTTED awards in 90s due to this hamming actor...from aamir, to sunny and to ajay.

now ask these why they have done that... most film buffs knows srk damaged awards' credibility alot single handedly, once they were taken seriously before his arrival and manipulations.

One solid reason why he could not lobbied for EACH N EVERY YEAR especially after 2010's is that things drastically changed from 90's , from the jury to the influential people and other factors over the years/decades.

Amir won the FF for Raja Hindustani over Nana Patekar in Khamoshi.. Should have boycotted the awards then since his medicore performance won over an incredible performance.. Clearly Amir bought that one..

Sanjay won for Vastav when Amir was nominated for Sarfarosh.. Clearly the awards decided they would not succumb to pressure that year..

Then HR won over Shah because you know the awards were not for sale that year..

Then Amir won for Lagaan over Sunny for Gadar because of course Amir bought the award seeing Gadar was a bigger hit and that did not cause Sunny to boycott the awards..

HR won for Dhoom 2 kyunke filmfare put its foot down.. Enough its enough.. Hum aur awards nahi bechenge..

When HR won for Jodha Akbar, it was because Shah ka dil bara hogaya and he decided that the kid much get some lollypop as a trophy

Truth is, Shah has received Filmfare only twice in a row.. Baki awards have been in gaps.. Han ab agar gaps mein bakion k paas ziada paise agaye tou alag baat hai..

Fact is Shah has been in the industry for 25 years, been nominated nearly 20 times and has won 8 times.. If winning 8 times is all that it took for the credibility of the so called most prestigious awards to come down, truth is, it was never credible in the first place..

Circled or rectangular, my arguments are actually factual, contrary to yours which are driven by dislike for Shah.. You have nothing barring some quotes from his competitors who for all you know could be sore losers too..
