HOW COME ONLY Ayushman is getting all the brand new scripts which are mostly never been used in any movie before ?

How come writers only approaches him EVERY TIME for such never heard before stories ?

How come just one person from the whole industry is getting all brand new concepts ?

MAN DONATING HIS SPERM FOR MONEY (vicky donor)

AIRCRAFT BUILDING (hawaizaada)

FAT WIFE CONCEPT (dum lagake...)

ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION ISSUE (shubh mangal...)

MAN ACTING BLIND (andhadhun)

ELDERLY MOM GETTING PREGNANT (badhaai ho)

ACTING GIRL IN MAJOR PART OF THE MOVIE (dream girl)

rajkumar once in a while gets a different concept like trapped , but its not the case most of the time with him...

Vicky's Uri was innovative but even it was not a brand new concept...

Is Bollywood not offering these one after another new concepts to others?

Or are others rejecting them ?

Or do the writers think only Ayushman can do justice to such brand new concepts from scratch?

I think he actively makes an effort to find/gives these scripts/concepts a listen unlike our "mainstream" stars. Sometimes these don't even reach the "esshtars" because how they don't engage unknown/new writers/directors.. u know, *herd mentality*

It's such a shame but oh once these directors actually make a film, often a "groundbreaking" one then they all wanna work with that director.. more power to Ayushman tho! 👏

I think he has the guts to experiment as opposite to others. I can't imagine any of the established actors playing a Vicky Donor. I also feel that mostly the so called stars reject an innovative idea as they have an image to maintain and they are also scared of working with a new director. How often do you see a Khan or a Kapoor or a Kumar working with a new director? And whether people call him overrated, I believe that whatever role he has portrayed onscreen, he has done Justice to it.

He has the guts to experiment, and a fantastic script sense. He knows how to pick good movies, and fresh concepts. I think he likes to go beyond the conventional and that's why new directors and scriptwriters approach him. He has the courage to break out of the mould. I think he also has some degree of stardom, that's why he can afford to do so. Article 15 worked mainly because of him. Any other actor in such a dark movie(barring Ranbir or Ranveer) would have flopped instantly.

After ranbir, Ranveer and Varun, Ayushman has starpower. No-one else has it. It might be content-driven nowadays but you need a loved face to sell the content. Otherwise, it's like ELKDTAL. Good content but a no-show at the box office.

It is not like only he is getting such movies, it is just that he is doing them because he isn't in the rat race.

Having a Ranveer or Ranbir, automatically makes the budget of the movie as much as what Ayushmann's movies are currently earning. With Ayushmann, a Andhadhun would be made within 35 crores, take a bigger star this will go to 70 crores, and these movies have limited audience.

Apart from Badhai Ho, none others are huge grossers. So economics wise, Ayushmann is less risky, hence his movies appear huge success. But take any other big young gen star, same movie will be either a mere success or flop.

He is lucky. Also, once a particular genre works for an actor - people keep offering same type of films to him.

Ayushman has never been the 1st choice for some of the films that have worked. But he had the guts to take risks and when his films started working, he continued scooping out unique, novel projects. They don't always go to him, but when they do come--he isn't afraid of the challenge.
