THERE has been much speculation on the release of the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer, Brahmastra, which has been filmed on a mammoth budget (reportedly over Rs 150 crore). The film was to release this month, but has been postponed to 2020. Also in 2020 is the purported marriage of the film’s A-list couple. Ranbir and Alia have been steady dates for almost two years now and the industry as well as their fans are wondering when they will tie the knot. But the two have side-stepped the question each time it has popped up in interviews.

Now we hear that Ranbir has formally met Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt and asked for her hand, with some sentimental tears rolling apparently.
