I'd rather believe someone like youknownothing than peiole who dobt live there commenting on the situation. Even if there is no complete truth in what he says, one can see he wants normalcy return for his region. @bold yeah it is hard for people to believe that we people are so calm after the removal of 370 but trust me nobody give gives a fu*k abt it especially in jammu. When our govt. removed that shitty article from my state we people celebrated that day coz we're fighting for last 70 years for the removal of 370. I am not saying everything is fine in Kashmir but j&k isn't kashmir only. Infact the situation in Kashmir isn't so bad like somr people are projecting here. I am in Kashmir in my friend's house and there is no black out here barring 2-3 areas that too for precautionary measures.

Agree, whether it is the trolls from the left or the right , if you feel a line is crossed and there is a threat, it is not acceptable. But it is not Modi's job to address every person who appeals to him on twitter and personally initiate or lodge cases against them.

There are moronic internet warriors and despicable people on both sides, it isn't just the left leaning celebs, journalists and activists who get such vile messages. A Vivek Agnihotri or Shefali Vaidya get as much filth, or threats of violence thrown against them on twitter as an Anurag Kashyap. You just don't hear much about them because they either ignore it, take action through proper channels instead of tagging the Prime Minister of the country or give it back to the foul-mouths on Twitter itself.

It is only when they see an Anurag Kashyap or his ilk who make it seem like it is just the people who are anti-BJP getting threatened by right wingers and making all RW seem like they are aggressive, uncivilized goons, that they come out with the threats they constantly face too.

Reg. Kashmir, the likes of BBC have had their credibility shot many times in the past. For every video of "peaceful protest" by stone pelting mobs and every real/photoshopped or fake images shared from the current time or another year, there are equal number of images and videos from journos who have been traveling to Kashmir where everything looks normal

So the truth may be somewhere in the middle - things may not be completely hunky dory but it is definitely not the epicenter of an impending genocide like how the BBC or the out-of-jobs Indian Journos writing for the Washington Post love to portray.

Anurag Kashyap criticized stand of Modi government in Kashmir Issue, I am not on Twitter so I do not have an idea of complete issue and he is alleging that trolls are sending him and his family death threats.

It is between Kashyap and a few vile people who are taking advantage of anonymity. I do not understand why did you involve Kashyap's rights and government of India in this, Kashyap exercised his right and Government of India did not take any action against him, which means he is free to criticize the government, this matter is between trolls and Kashyap, he can file a complaint in cyber crime department. If he doesn't and expects police to take an action then he is not asking for his rights, he is asking for a privilege.

@Bold - Why involve Lord Rama in this? If Anurag Kashyap left Twitter and he is a leftist so you drag Modi, Modi supporters and people who practice Hinduism. You started went from GOI to Modi and his mother to Lord Rama, how?
