LMAO at Kabir Singh and the debate!

This movie was so pathetic but what’s even more pathetic was the debate and the collections it made.

This movie deserved a 50cr max lifetime. 3hrs snooze fest.

But this also brings me to the era of mass media and how it has hypnotized us.

Kabir Singh is a guy who doesn’t give a f what you think of him. That’s the only quality he has but that’s not by choice. He’s impulsive and attached to Preeti to the core.

The so called toxic masculinity isn’t even there.

What problems do you have with him? He slapped her? Put ice on genitals? Kissed her on the cheek?

He also kissed her brother on the cheek without his permission but that’s okay right? 😂

Even the knife scene was shown as him losing control and then gets his senses back. They literally show a light shining on him.

This is the guy who can’t lose control and he loses it all to the point that he even pees himself.

Hard core abusers are in every society and that cannot be changed. Not all people are set in their thinking. Many are impressionable and constant awareness about many issues - animal rights, lifestyle risks - has changed our society for the better. A single Pink can change a way ward's thinking as can a single Kabir Singh. Kabir Singh is a hero in many people's eyes and that is disturbing to me. For all aspects but particularly the misogyny one. The world doesn't need to normalize this kind of behavior after so many decades of struggle, which is still continuing.

Bad doesn't always remain bad and vice versa. Information does have an effect on people. A 1000 Pinks will show its effect on the society as a whole as will a 1000 Kabir Singhs.

I just want to point out that boy slapping a girl becomes an outrage because of power disparity. When I was a kid, i ones got slapped by my brother and it hurt alot. I was having chat with people of different generations in r locality regarding the movie. While the younger generation were having a problem with slap and girl not speaking up and older generation is having problem with scenes like he taking drugs or asking the girl to open up with a knife .... I asked my friends she dint have a problem specifically with anything ....she found the movie average ... while another friend loved it and wanted to again ....
