IDK.. The only mistake I find in all of this is the lack of a credit to the original artist. But, somehow I am unable to bring myself to dislike or disapprove of the directors, Pritam or Anu or RD Burman or the songs.. what's your take on all of this?

Lack of credit is important.

What if they didn't wanted to be used.

Making a single piece of art and creativity can take days ,months , sweat and things from inside , they are sacred and should not be used like this.

I guess Anu Malik ka case feels like the middle child syndrome.

RD Burman, people have like a sacred image, so often his flaws are overlooked or blanketed.

Pritam is the youngest one. Got famous where shelf life of a song and people's memory is less. And plus with onslaught of so many songs no one really cares now.

With Anu Malik I think it is the nostalgia factor. People who grew up listening to those songs, after becoming aware of the "inspired" sources ended up feeling cheated. Like a major part of their childhood was a lie. And plus him not having a great voice also acts as a cherry on the topping. Poor middle child sandwiched.
