And here comes another disturbing statements from Bollywood.. thanks for giving such example to people .. but again it's audience perception how they want to perceive from movie but .. have he even thought what messege his statement gives to a male domination audience ??

I can say all have different perspective ..but one with wrong perspective, who beats his wife daily get a point here to justify his deeds?😕

The complete black and white take on the movie is not relatable fosho ... Haven't seen the movie nor the interview ... just read few threads! ... From what I understood he slapped her once and she did the same ...

Usually Couples ofc don't slap each other on daily basis nor are they abusive ... but haven't we seen around us where every other couple get into broul and get physical once in a blue moon?! ... How are we supposed to judge such scenarios? .... I think it really boils down to couple's dynamics and how acceptable it is for them ... Slaps may take place under extreme situations like a wife slapping husband for endangering their kid even if unintentionally (have seen this personally) ... How right or wrong is it? ... Happened only once in their journey ... Should the husband divorce wife for slapping him?! ... I don't know really ... Frankly I have seen couples from varied age groups getting under such situations where they can physical on rare occasions ... It also depends whether it's done publicly or behind closed doors!

I think director did say something about how if we can't accept our partner at their worse we haven't accepted them completely! ... Again not sure .. in a way I can see what he's trying to say but at the same time slapping for me personally is not respecting the boundary! .. Yet it happens more often than not with many couples!

I mean I don't know really ... I understand points from both sides but real life scenarios aren't as black and white!

Side note ... Ofc I am not condoning domestic violence which is consistent and happens on regular basis ... I am just not sure world is as idealistic as many may think!
