Without romance, there are lot of purpose in life. I am talking about lack of love not someone living in a cabin in mountains lol. There are always a lot of people in normal person's life

This is not success ..this is fraud. Success is when someone achieves something and has the satisfaction that I did not do anything wrong or got favors which others were not able to do or could not do. I totally did not understand your point here.

This is where honor comes in. If we start devaluing things like honor and tradition then we will end up as dacoits, thugs lol.

Sorry totally dont agree here.

Well if I say I want to jump from a mountain. I hire a helicopter and someone puts me at the top. Then from the top I ran and then throws myself in the air ...falling falling and i land on the ground and achieve my success.

Only to be taken on a stretcher by 10 men for akhri rasoomat lol

Success needs to be defined

Well no one is saying u come to office in US wearing a kurta on top and a lungi beneath...it can create issues lol. though it will be good in warm weather.

keeping up with your traditions shows you are a secure person and a secure person means success in every aspect of life. health as well.

If you are only talking about romance then fine. I agree its not necessary in life to achieve success. But if I remember correctly, I don't think SRK's character ever said in the film that love makes you achieve success. And discipline is not a principle which goes against the concept of love. Both of them are different aspects of life and can co-exist. It was Amitabh's Parampara and Prathishtha which had a problem with his daughter falling in love with SRK, which again, I don't think is a must in achieving my definition of "success".

Success simply means that you long for something and in the end you achieve it, by knowledge, smartness, talent and hard work. Success in life I think is about doing well in your work and career, with the ultimate goal of earning money(and also fame in some cases.) I guess that's what we all want in the end.

So even criminals can be successful according to me. I mean they are doing well in their field. They are earning money. They are good at their job. They've got skills. Where does being ethical became necessary? That's a completely different thing. Yeah, some get caught by the cops in the end, but some don't, so they've got success right? That's just a risk in their profession.

Being ethical isn't really essential imo. Because what really is ethical? Is nepotism ethical? Buttering your boss ethical? Is corruption ethical? These things are common for people in India and no one cares about being ethical here. Maybe casting couch is frawd, but most people just don't care. For them, they are just paying a price to survive. For them they are not doing anything wrong to be unsatisfied. I don't think anyone ever progresses in their job without getting favours from their boss. Not necessarily sleeping with them, but like buttering, becoming their pet, playing politics etc.

I'm not getting how keeping up with your traditions makes a person secure. Yeah, some people are just wannabes who want to ape the West. But maybe some genuinely don't relate with their traditions. Despite that, following those traditions is a sign of being submissive, not security.
