No. I read that the journalist who unmasked this scandal died in a bomb blast and her body parts were spread around. That reminded me of Dil Se.

Otherwise, I'm not interested in this political stuff even though I'm a business student.

Yes, when it was released, kids hated it...

Adults hated it...

Teens, senior citizens hated it.

Only now the movie has become a classic on I-F :)

Not sure how the real world feels about the movie now.

Wait, you guys think he did it because he loved her? I thought he died because that was the only way to stop her from bombing other people. When he hugged her tight, the bomb went out. This means she could have gone and hug someone else or stand in the crowd and the bomb would have gone off.

By holding her tight and letting the bomb kill him and her, I think he saved a lot of people doing that. He wasn't trying to save her or him.

actually the film's ending does not make sense to me, how all of a sudden manisha generates her feelings towards him and ready to die forgetting her mission..this does not happen in real life and this is where a great filmmaker like MANI RATNAM missed the mark. though the killing of both the main characters seems justified but the outcome was hollow

in Roja when the terrorist pankaj kapur lets the hero go his way, u can see the character development throughout the whole film and u can see that he emphasizes with the hero's character and that's how it really worked well.

But Manisha's performance was rock-solid no doubt, she stole the show, she's natural and inhibits a great performance. can't believe KAJOL was the original choice for this film, she would have messed it up.
