Bharat is set for huge first day collection of around 43-45 crore nett as per early estimates which would be the second highest collection of all time for a Hindi film after Thugs Of Hindostan. The big cricket match may have affected a collections a little but its no major dent.
It will also be the highest opening day collection ever for a Salman Khan starrer beating the numbers of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo though it will have to go towards the higher end of the range to go past the GROSS numbers of Prem Ratan Dhan Mayo.
The huge star power of Salman Khan is still fully intact as this film is not in the mold of a Tiger Zinda Hai or Thugs of Hindostan where the action gives it that extra boots. The film is more of emotional human drama and to be at such high numbers on day one is a credit to the star power.
The numbers are huge all over though its Hindi markets which are near records levels and may even hit all time records.The collections of some cities from Gujarat, CI and UP coming in are the highest ever. The single screen numbers are extraordinary all over despite the film not holding as much appeal for them as the multiplexes. But thats where the pull of the star comes into play.
