Deepika's not stupid. She can't compete with Ranveer because a male star's career graph is totally different from a woman's. At one time, Aishwarya was a top actress and going global but now she is sitting at home and taking care of her kid while a B-grade star like Abhishek is still making movies and earning money.

She gets her own benefits out of marrying an actor because she will stay relevant, appear at awards shows and red carpets and get to do photo shoots. She can stay on as an influencer for a long time or else old actresses fade away and people forget them.
