befikre wasn't a miracle script, it was more adi chopra trying to be 'daring' and do something out of his comfort zone, and ranveer just wanted to be directed by him, he didn't seem excited about the film itself

the director of Jayeshbai is Gujarati himself, so he will know how to write about a Gujarati family and characters

The rumour was that he was doing Maneesh Sharma's next directorial. during Sui Dhaaga promos when Maneesh was asked wheather Ranveer will be in his next he said he have no idea what his next film will be. I think media got the part about Maneesh directing wrong as he is the producer only.

thank god maneesh is not directing him, i am glad its a debutant coz nobody can judge him based on previous films

Ranveer is in a position now to reject trashy YRF scripts so I know this must be good for him to sign it that too when he has only worked with the biggest directors till now. So him working with a debutant means kuch dum hain script mein. No wonder he visited Kjo's office a few days back. Ab bas Kjo announce kar de ki Takht is shelved or Veer is out of it.

tbh even vicky has signed multiple films, he has udham singh, he is still finishing the horror movie and he signed the uri directors next film, and news just came out he will be filming udham singh over the next 7 months

i don't think anyone has dropped out of takht, filming seems to be delayed, and i don't think Jayeshbai will take too log to film, its seems like a smaller budget movie based in Gujarat

Didn't Adi visit Kjo's house a few weeks back...maybe tabhi discuss hua. Uff thank you Adi.

Ikr. YRF is the new king. Who would have thought 😆 I think even yesterday I was ranting about how I wish Adi will get him to commit to a YRF movie so that he can get out of the negativity surrounding Dharma and Kjo. Adi is the only person kjo can never say no. Adi woke up and decided to get him out of the mess. Thank god. Anything is better than a Dharma movie these days.

I had a hunch that Ranveer's next will a YRF movie when I read that blind about him being angry with the creative team because his talents are not able to give hits with YRF. Maneesh is not a bad director. His forte is the simple romcoms, slice of life. Him being onboard as a producer instead of Adi is a sight of relief.

Lets pray the rumour of DP being the leading lady of Maneesh's next also come true. 😜

But Maneesh is co-producing with Adi. Actress ka tension baad mein lenge abhi bas yeh khushi toh manaa le.😆

The thing I love the most is that he immediately starts this film as 83 wraps up in September. Plus a lighthearted film is good after all the intense prep he has been doing to play Kapil.
