Varun's Box Office Lies

I see that some media outlets are still making declarations that he has no flops. I think that we must understand how the box office truly works.....as a movie expert I know more. ..... Things are black and white...Either a movie is a hit or its a flop. We cant induce self-pleasure hormones and get excited over "average, semi-hit" tags - these are simply PR tactics to elevate and stimulate ego's. If a movie is an average - its not successful... Why ? because IT IS NOT A HIT. If it was hit then it would be CALLED A HIT. Please familiarize yourself with the concept CLEAN HIT. Clean hit means there is no room for doubt and movie is HIT.

I know some people love to twist the word "successful"....and say "but is an average film could be successful". NO NO NO NO. If it was successful it would've been a HIT then. Please understand this.

Please review the following:

SOTY - semi-hit

Main Tera Hero - semi hit

HSKD- Hit

Badlapur - Hit

ABCD2 - Superhit

Dilwale- Semi-hit

Dishoo - Average

BKD- Superhit

Judawaa 2- Super Hit

October - Flop

Sui Dhaaga - Flop

Kalank- Disaster

Varun has 5 "true" successsful films....7 unsucessful films. No average/semi-hit ka locha. FACTS. TRUE FACTS.

Review it, understand it and accept it

BOI hasn't given verdict for sui dhaaga and october..their verdict list of 2018 is empty for almost all the films.

koimoi had declred October average and Sui - Dhaaga..i am yet to find a source that calls these two films 'flops'

KALANK i agree is a disaster..it's open to everyone...

"average" is not a successful term. Average is different than HIT. You cannot count October the same as a Judwaa-2. There is a big difference in the business of both films.

You can call it whatever u want but the trade has declared it average nd ppl shall believe the trade rather than believing individual opinions

This is same like saying no matter what Umpire says, catch out tha. Lol. It’s as clear as that type of wicket, but still there are people who refuse to believe it.

but i don't know how a member's post on a mere bollywood forum about a film's failure can be taken seriously when there are no major sources to support your theory.

u can go ahead and shout as louder as you can you feel like the movie flopped that's not how things work out.

I'm not even a DHAWAN fan but I really liked his work in October and the film, a tid bit slow was very well made. And honestly, i have seen only some members here who'r trying to project the film as a flop but the fact is that film was declared average by most sources..even BOI would have given the same verdict. but they do not provide verdict anymore because of the bashing I guess..

And a movie can have an average status, if it recovers its budgets and yields minimal profits, you can neither put it into 'Flop' or 'Hit' Category. you don't want to believe it, that's your own opinion but it doesn't become FACT

Honestly, this makes sense.
