It is the other way. Seeing Alia begging others new girls must be thinking they need to beg, we know it now, industry must have known way before that Alia begs for roles. Even Jhanvi did. Kat does. Even PC did for Bharat but it is bcos she heard it from Arpita and found heroine's role worthy. It is sad that she is not doing it.

It is more than obvious from Rajamouli's tweet that KJo met him and said proudly about her and raised her in his eyes. What is Alia thinking? Just bcos she requested Rajamouli he wud take her? Oh she is such a great actress, right?

So this is how it goes. First papa irritates the directors with his beti ki jaap like he does in kwk and then makes beti beg for roles or makes her emotionally blackmail them😲 yeh kya naatak chal raha hai 🤣

This is what used to go once with Sridevi both in south and then also entered north with Godfather K.Raghavendra Rao. She is mostly an above average actor and normal looking woman. Jayaprada and Jayasudha were class apart. Can never appreciate such actors like Alia and Sridevi who do such tactics and reduce other more worthy actors work.

Same here, I wanted to watch Kalank to see how much of a melodramatic mess it was but the very thought of watching Alia's smug face and nostril acting for 3 hrs is holding me off from going to the theater.

The only explanation is then what you've said and I completely agree. Like I said in another thread, she's coming across as very bratty, vain, shameless and arrogant.

Looks like she doesn't give a shit anymore about what others think because her Papa is the most powerful man in BW right now and she's become an established star. It's all really going to her head.

She is showing how privileged she is and want to make others feel insecure about it. May be Papa made her to say that. The more people dig him about nepotism, the more he wants to show how powerful he is. They are weird.

This girl has become so smug and entitled that shes crowing now about her roles like prizes, Basically shes gloating how she just has to ask and she gets whatever role she wants on a platter.

Everyone knows its KJo who is pulling strings for her, striking deals with these directors like Rajamouli, but Aloo is claiming that she begged Rajamouli for the role so she got it ...like she asked Ayan for Brahmastra role as far back as YJHD so Ayan had to give it to her...

Iam so disappointed in Rajamouli. Keerthy Suresh wud have made best Sita. Ala is wooden. Keerthy is something else, such a strong actor after Soundarya as seen in Mahanati second half. But then Bahubali is nothing but hype and grandness. Sadly only being close to heroes and talking nicely to them and all such strategies like Samantha makes one top or like Alia. Is this what being passionate means? I hope Rajamouli watches Kalank and changes to Keerthy Suresh for Sita and remove Alia. He became overconfident on his own work after BB's massive success.
