I don't find her that great tbh, mostly sleep walks in her performances. She and Soni(Aloo's mom) are the weakest actors from the pseudo intellectual gang of 1970s-80s parallel movies IMO. Obviously they are still better than many, but not really the cream of the crop.
I disagree.Neena gupta is indeed very talented but never got much opportunities.
