I don't find her that great tbh, mostly sleep walks in her performances. She and Soni(Aloo's mom) are the weakest actors from the pseudo intellectual gang of 1970s-80s parallel movies IMO. Obviously they are still better than many, but not really the cream of the crop.

Neena can't be compared to Soni who is a weak actress.

Neena has been very natural actor. I liked her since her Saans tv show days. That show was classic.

She had written and directed it too. I wonder why she didn't try direction again.
