Never watched diabetes inducing HAHK and not watching the remake either. BTW, HAHK was copied from Nadiya ke paar. A far better film minus the vomit inducing saccharine of HAHK.

HAHK will not work today if sanskar is forced.
Alia and Varun should do something real, although non commercialization will discourage it.

She didn't say they will be perfect, they asked if Varun and alia will be able to do it.
What was she supposed to say to media? That no, it would be horrid?
