I am one of the VERY VERY few people who did not like Don 1 much but really liked Don 2😆 Especially Shah in the jail scene.. One of my fav scenes of his.. Though I would have to agree.. Don without Roma will not work and since there is no chance of PC Shah starring together for now, they should restart DON from the scratch

Exactly. I was baffled by all the outrage. It is not as if SRK is the original don. Also Don franchise is not some blockbuster franchise that people go bat shit crazy that someone else is rumoured to have been offered the role.

@block: My initial reaction was if RS is so inclined to do the next installment from an already establised action franchise why not go for a blockbuster franchise like Dhoom (my forever dream role and movie for RS) instead of the mediocre and strictly hit bo franchise Don. But now that you have put it this way I don't mind this at all. If the rumour is true I have no objection of him doing the role and god willing he delivers a blockbuster installment for the Don franchise. 😆

also ranveer knows the producers of Don are ritesh and farhan, not zoya, so this doesn't seem like his PR coz the writer said its zoyas film 😆

I'm not sure he's gonna suit it right now. Don's entire premise depends on instant charm and I don't anybody from the current gen has that. But the idea of a prequel excites me. A Don movie with two separate narratives,one a younger played by Veer and the much older played by Shah, kinda like Godfather 2 would be splendid. Don is retiring and he reminiscent of a life lived and the mistakes made.

Successful or not successful but don tune/music , dialogues and gifs etc are everywhere and still being used in award shows and other platforms to bring that swag instead of jumping music ...no wonder someone might be desperate 😆

And then talk about his fans bragging about replacing sharukh 😆😆
