in the original the guy literally forces the girl to be with him, he doesn't ask her permission, he is like 'she is mine' and thats it, the poor girl is so scared of him that she can't even say anything to him, she has no say in anything, and she actually falls in love with him! i mean wat does that teach to the young boys in india? that if they be intimidating then they can get any girl they want? if the movie did work, i wud say it is because of the lead actor, because the story is not great, also it was too long
