I don't think the film will flop but will definitely underperform if the wom is not good. It will make enough money to get an average tag because of the star cast only.

Karan couldn't make Kesari the roaring success he wanted it to be. I think these days it's understandable which movie worked and which didn't. The first 3 days are just manic euphoria. Then the week speaks.

More than anything I want to see if Kalank becomes part of the period drama pop culture like Bhansali's movies are. Thats when you know one has succeeded. The dialogues should become instant success for that to happen.

Also the done to death plot of a man still in love with the first wife forced to get married to another woman because of an excrutiating circumstances- typical tv serial plot. 😆

Padmaavat had lot of controversy and delayed release. Also Ranveer's performance was top notch. Here I don't see any stellar performance except from Kunal Kemmu

It should open very well. it's been a while since a high profile release. Varun and Alia have a strong young fan base. The snarks have Sonakshi and ARK.
