Russo had interviews on April 1st and a press conference.

Joe Russo did not say anything about Kamala Khan but Priyanka Chopra really gave her voice for this character in 'Marvel Avengers Academy' which she also twitted in 2016.

Hence it wouldn't be surprising if they really are talking with Priyanka for their upcoming projects as she worked with them before too. Maybe this time she will be approached for any other character even if not Kamala or maybe they would change the entire storyline including the age, if the article is really true then.

Moreover many actors including Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr. etc. are leaving MCU so it's about time they introduced new characters. Chinese Superhero Shang Chi will be introduced as well which has already been confirmed, he will be the first Asian lead in the MCU.

Congrats to PC if true. .

But since the news has come on All Fool's Day, I highly doubt it's credibility.
