And Hollywood is no parameter for morals or ethics. So doesn't matter if Polanski or Allen were awarded. But they took Weinstein out and people are now constantly questioning Polanski,Allen,R kelly sympathisers. The boycott of Bryan Singer is proof that change has come.

it is not just 12 years old fans, many grown ass Deepika fans also defended him, many grown ass women are still fans of SRK, Sallu, Ranbir and so on despite having many incidents of sexism from these men.
See the point is people who will be upset with Deepika and maybe totally boycott her will be very tiny compared to those who don't care.
Anyways this is just rumors and I am sure Deepika is not gonna do a movie where she will he just an eye candy, as this isn't gonna be a typical Luv movie where women have meaty roles, even if they are villains.
