No matter how hard KJo and gang try, Alia is not looking like a heroine of a period film one bit IMO. These roles require a bit of maturity and Alia's babyface is ruining it.🥱
@Bold: Exactly, that is her problem, she looks too immature and babyfaced for a period film. Otherwise all other actors, Varun, Sonakshi, Madhuri, Sanju all fit well in a period setting.
I found Alia a misfit in Udta Punjab and 1st half of DZ as well because of her immaturity and inability to express mature emotions.
ARK is getting more expressionless with time, he was much better in Guzarish or even in Aashiqui 2 ...or maybe his role is that of a stern, silent brooding type of guy.
