The logic of Alia is also a bankable star so credit should go to her also' logic reminds me of a Crime Patrol episode where a guy forges his medical degree as he cannot pass on his own despite trying for several times and later in his career proves to be a decent doctor. When the entry criteria itself is wrong or questionable, the performance does not matter imo. If she is that good, Papa Jo doesnt need to lobby so much for her to produce every damn project she stars in. This is plain bribery. I have not heard directors getting recommendation for Tabu who, by far, might be the finest actress in last 40 yrs of BWFI. Why does a director like Zoya or Gauri Shinde gets Alia's recommendation and then crib/complain about various things of her during the film-making process ? All this will just reduce respect for Alia who actually is a good actress. KJo's thick brain cannot understand this.
