NO. Unless the celebrity is well versed on the topic at hand and be able to debate the issue then go ahead. Otherwise these celebrities are gonna say something which many aren't going to like and will call you names and try to get you banned.

Bollywood celebrities come across as dumb and totally ill-informed on pressing issues. I wouldn't want to hear a privileged halfwit like Sodumb Kapoor talking about national issues.

However, well-versed individuals with genuine intentions should voice their opinions.

Kangana makes several irresponsible statements and then defends it saying she was emotional. Rather than correcting herself she wants the rest to join the circus. I have far more respect for the celebs who refrain for making irresponsible statements when they do not possess proper knowledge about the topic.

then yes they should speak about national issues as they live in the same country and earn their money through the citizens

Why not... Everyone should be able to discuss about their country IF they want to... You might not be the best informed. The most well read but you still should be able to voice your opinion ... Why do you need to do a thesis Before speaking k about our own country... . Its just that social media trolls so much that stars have started being politically silent...

Shabana Azmi has so much to talk about when it comes to every issue but was silent , KJO, all the big shots were silent.

Big B when asked about #metoo says , this is not the platform to talk about it , where else should he talk about.

Ranveer says I am apolitical when asked to comment on separating political views from personal views.

They should talk about it esp when they have millions who look up to them.

There is no should? This is a free country . Celebs or not it's their choice to talk. Well informed or not any one can talk. Same way some can also not talk. Some people are highly opninated they have opinions about everything. Some genuinely don't have opinions. Different people will behave differently.There is no right or wrong here. Should or shouldn't. They are actors and their main job is to entertain us via movies . As long as they do that it's ok. The only thing they should do is do their job well of entertaining audiences via movies. Other than that they are free people living in a free county they can do whatever they want.
