It reminds me 2015 when BM was extremely hyped against Dilwale although latter was very successful overseas...and later people voiced a lot of negative opinion concerning BM that wasn't voiced at the time while both played in theatres.

Dilwale may not have been a great movie but despite some flaws it was a decent one...and definitely Zero did not merit the harsh and demeaning reaction propagated through social media and some sections of critics.

Overseas even people with no SRK or Hindi movie affiliation appreciated the movie, its story and the performances (also Anushka's).

Also I still come across people who like JHMS as an out-of-the-box Hindi movie with a well crafted and well performed story. Coincidences???

Somehow it makes me ponder about how much and especially why people's opinions may get pushed in a certain direction.
