Alia Bhatt - under-appreciated and over-rated?

I was watching the Kanlak teaser on youtube and looking at the comments below. Not a single comment for the supposedly No. 2 actress of the country!?

I feel she distinctively lacks what it means to be a star. She doesn't have the aura, screen presence and gets overshadowed by people for e.g. Sonakshi in Kalank teaser.

She is lucky to get roles tailor-made for her, thanks to Karan Johar, but she is the female Ayushman Khurana who gets great scripts and content to her credit. Take that away and she won't be left with any trappings of a 'star.'

So, what makes her under-appreciated among the masses?

Alia is the Anushka Sharma of the new generation.Natural,efficient actor.

No male actors' fandom will jump up and down if she is cast in their favorites film.they will always be ..Yeah Whatever.

Leave alone grace, she is so average-looking it's not funny. She looks like a child. No aura, no personality, no screen presence...as if she is thrust down audience's throats by an over-enthusiastic godfather.

Looking at the youtube comments I would be inclined to believe Arijit Singh is a bigger star than the so called "superstars" here.

I dont think she could've made it without KJo who hypes her up on every platform. Its kinda disgusting considering how many deserving, talented and stunning actresses are not getting the same opportunities as her
