For me both Salman and Madhuri were perfect in HAHK, in fact all the casting was perfect and that's why it was such a huge hit. But he is right , all other characters including Salman may have worked decently with other actors but without Madhuri this movie would have straight up flopped. No other from that time or today's time could have brought that aada, beauty and grace to the character.

No one than madhuri as Nisha , and no one than salman bhai as Prem
Who can pull off 14 songs in a movie than Madhuri Dixit
In each song she was mesmerizing bhai as Prem was perfect as well!

I will always have a soft corner for Barjatiya becoz he made HANK.I still watch it whenever it comes on tv.However lame it maybe for some people I adore the movie.Madz was amazing and so was Salman.Their chemistry is quite underrated.
Didi Tera Devar Diwana and Joote do paise lo is still so much fun.

Same I am ready to forget Main Prem ki Deewani and PRDP only because he made HAHK. It's got great repeat value.
