I don't think the scummiest thing would be her depression. I mean she founded an organization based on that that closely works with mental health with results. Apparently, the organization has reached to the rural parts of India as well. Her family, mom and sister, are also super involved in it. I don't think she would involve her parents if this is for PR 😕. Didn't she go to her therapist (who helped her during depression) daughter's wedding? If this was all PR, how did the therapist and the daughter come in picture? 😕

I think the scummiest thing is probably the cleavage scandal

Kjo never forced him. If it is indeed Sid then he has bartered himself for all this in return of the fame and films he gets despite being a bad actor.

And why can't therapist be brought into all this? People in this country can buy court judges then therapist kya cheez hai?

And just because they are 'parents' doesn't automatically make them nice people. There have been many parents who are a big name themselves but scums at the end of the day.

The therapist is a doctor... nothing to do with the entertainment industry. Why do the therapist need to get into her PR game? 🤪. What would the therapist get out of it? Nothing.

And anyway, we all are making assumptions here. I just stated my opinion that I do not think depression is it. This person didn't say what it was... so all we can really do is speculate at this point 😆

Arey didn't that person say he doesn't know Deepika well? I mean it isn't like his agency was managing her. Maybe what he's saying is not true. Maybe he's doing his own PR activity in the AMA. No need to take all of it as some biblical truth.

Personally, I don't think Deepika faked her depression. I don't think she won any new fans because of it. Only her fans loved her more for it. And some people may have sympathised with her. She could've started the organization anyway without having been affected by the problem herself. So, there's just no need to fake that. Also, she was already doing pretty well at that time.

Also, the way she speaks for pay parity, on the MeToo movement, just in general about stuff...of course it must be PR approved... but so many other stars mess those issues up so badly. So, she's so sorted in these things, not afraid to speak up or take sides. I feel like she wouldn't fake something like that, which probably happened to her anyway because it is common in a high stress environment I think.
