-Biopics!! Most of them are so boring
-Remixes
-Should stop posting box office nos. Everyday, rather they should give out the box office collections after the film has completed its run.
-Posting hundreds of articles and pictures of star kids who have not yet debuted. Imo media should start hyping them up after their debut is announced
- link up break up drama for movie promotion
- blocking release dates 1-2 years ahead

I think I am the only one here who doesn't mind movie promotions. They are fun and I completely enjoy them. But yeah excessive promotions are a buzz kill.

Me too. I don't follow all promotions so I don't mind them 😆 like why would you go and watch all videos... And I don't watch TV much so this forum is the only place I come to know of promotional events and still I don't go through those posts much 😃

There are a lot of things as other posters pointed out but lack of audition system

Lack of diverse leads

Lack of stories which connect to men and women ages 30-40. Settled down but still yearning for more

Not yet in midlife crisis

Exactly!!
Promotion is the time when I see my favourite going all out and in a fun mood. You get to know about how they are as a person and their experience shooting that film. I think promotions become monotonous if the actor/ actress has a boring personality, but otherwise they are pretty interesting.
I always look forward to the month long promotions before his film releases.

@bold: this is why BW is not taken seriously.
Smaller countries with small budget for movies are creating great world cinema that India should be well-known for- as you guys have a rich history/culture to draw from...plus (if your BW etc studios EVER start doing proper auditions) a MIRIAD of good looking actors WITH TALENT. to fill good movies
Even South Korea auditions those wannabe actors like constantly...does rigorous training with everyone..demands great scripts and good directing... and they have results!.. Now even HW is copying their movies.

That^^^is where India's movie industry should be..on a worldwide forum, with everyone talking about/admiring your talented directors/actors... not BW(Indian movies in general)being ridiculed as copycat and OTT.. and supporting bad/mediocre star kids in bad/mediocre movies.

Yeah, it's a great edge of the seat thriller film and yes, it had no deshbhakti angle because Akki started doing those type of films since Holiday.

- Song remakes (please come up with original music!)

- Nepotism

- Have better scripts with content

- Changing the heroines in so-called Sequels

- Stop making movies with the same pairings
