What's with the Sara Ali Khan hype?

Anyone else don't get it? She seems nice off screen but that's about it, her performances so far were nothing special yet everyone circlejerks around her like she is something special.

Also considering how people bash nepotism all the time but when it's a new attractive woman it's fine..lol.

people like new. the minute she flops...people will start hating her. like with parineeti...people loved her and then the minute she started flopping..they act as if she doesnt exist. suddenly ayushmann has some success and people are going gaga over him too.

the initial popularity for her is because of her lineage. and she has an attractive personality. but its a matter of success and failures that will determine the long run likability

the audience is just as fickle imo...no one cares about you if you flop😆

She was liked by people instantly, i guess for internet people, it was her off screen personality.

but end of the day it depends on her acting in upcoming movies.

She is intelligent. But she tries to play dumb, by laughing without a reason and overdoing maska lagana.

Someone tell her people like her because she is smart. We need people who have something intelligent to say.

M actually starting to dislike her coz of the Karthik Aryan bullshit.

She has a really good personality.. intelligent, smart and witty.. but I don't see her hype translating into anything concrete for her.. Even after so much positivity for her on SM, she is yet to sign a good project.. Sign karna chodo but koi khabar bhi nahi hai ki what all she has been offered it at all..
IMO, as a newcomer she was pretty good in both her muvis.. she can do really well if given right opportunities.

What is the use of hype when it cannot turn into opportunities

recently wink girl got overnight popularity with Insta followers but she could not get any gr8 opportunities out of it (so far as I know)

Hope it is not the same case with Sara. I am sure Amrita will plan something soon to help Sara

She is sweet.. Smart n a good actor too.. She was really good in kedar n simba too.. She earned all her hype... I hope she will b able to concrete this popularity by doing good movies.. She will have to do it herself... Kjo papa will snatch everything from her for his janu n Anany..

I think people who are overhypying Sara, were desperately looking for a competition for Kjo nepotism child Jhanvi, and they got it with her. We know that Alia got away with all the competition, as all the actresses from her generation have either faded or are far behind her. So of course some are scared that in future Bollywood will be ruled only Kjo nepo-daughters.

Though Sara doesn't make the exact cut either, as she too is a star kid and comes from a royal family. But she's the best we have right now, to prove that Bollywood Kjo ke baap ki nahi hai. I'm sure once SOTY 2 releases, Tara Sutaria will also get the same hype, as she's talented and will be a true-blue outsider.
