Will Katrina Kaif finally put more effort into her performances?

Since her performance in Zero was so well received (for her standards I guess it was pretty good, if overhyped). But before that I struggle to think of a movie where she delivered, often the opposite happened like with JTHJ where she dragged movies down with her shitty perfromances

Probably not. I had high hopes she would once she started doing films like BBD, then she did TZH which I thought her acting was weak, then TOH where she was literally useless and not anything special. And on top of that, nearly every movie she has done HAS to have an item song of some sort...just why?

To be fair I don't think she will have much options anymore. Like what is she doing after Bharat?

TZH's Zoya is miles better performance than BBD, what are you talking about??
