This is horrible to hear. I hope the girl gets justice. And Hirani gets punished.

god if this successful and elder people misuse their power then how can young generation keep morals and move forward in this industry 😭

I watched Surviving R Kelly yesterday and it's so disheartening that people will protect sexual predators just for money. I'm so happy that many victims are coming forward now and I hope the general public makes it clear how disgusting it is to support these predators.

I always have liked his work but he turned out to be a big jerk. If it is indeed true I really hope he doesn't get to make any more movies, that will be the biggest punishment for him because I don't think court will declare him guilty. There will be no concrete evidence against him plus I am sure he will pay money to shut people up.

Glad that vvc, anupama and joshi are not supporting him, maybe they know that he harass women regularly and the accusations are true. People who work together know about the dirty habits of each other but remain quite.

Hope this girl gets all the courage and support to stand up against him. And if she is saying the truth, she should get justice asap.

This is so shocking. If this is true I really hope Hirani is punished.

And there is nothing surprising about VVC and Anupama not supporting Hirani.. right now the situation is such that the victims are finally getting their due hence VVC and Anupama would have faced severe backlash had they supported Hirani. Similar to how Farah reacted to Sajid's me too stories although i am pretty sure they all knew about it.

it is to be seen how things turn out for the biggest director in BW! And hopefully we get to see more big fishes exposed!

Speechless.

But then ... like someone mentioned... there was something odd about some remarks he was making on casting couch... plus his whole attitude re Sanjay's sleeping with women and the whole whitewashing of his buddy that always creeped me- reason I haven't watched Sanju to this day. I got major offputting vibes from RH when he tried his best to say he is not whitewashing his buddy Sanjay Dutt. Right.

I hope this lady gets support and , if there are other ladies, they all come forward.

It's hard to prove such cases and I am sure MONEY talks.. hopefully many more things come out that make this stick- if indeed true.

The fact that he is a successful film director and 'acted' nicely around some people would not excuse his behaviour towards other women.

Hope media helps with digging out the truth and doesn't let this die down.

Why 80% of this forum assume that hirani is at fault without any evidence against him?

So if any woman accuses a man from the industry, people will believe the woman immediatly without any evidence?

You already concluded a hirani is at fault without any evidence against and wihout even hearing his side of the story. I think it s really unfair to him.

Because his long time friend buddy and partner VVC and his wife Anupama distanced themselves from him? And gave the girl shelter in their own place??
Because the article is published in Huff Post.. not some tabloid?
Because the other writer Abhijet.. a long term collaborator.. also distanced himself from RH?
Because the guy that bbroke the news on Twitter has done that with previous sexual assault cases?
Because many people had doubts about him anywayh since whitewashing SD, other odd coments.. the way he portrays men and women in film... and loves SD-a man that did NOT have a good attitude in regards to women and considered them 'notches on bedpost'?

Most of us don't even accuse him outright, we are all waiting to see what revelations are coming out further... but we are discussing what HAS already come out.

And it's not looking good.

Vvc, Anupama, abhijhat have to distance themselves otherwise they'll be questioned like not supporting the victim specially Anupama- the feminist

So nothing is proved but they have to support the victim no matter what otherwise they'll face heat

Huffing post just carries the allegations made by the accused like with vikas. Once a victim has come forward with their story, they carry it out, it doesn't mean it's true or untrue.

Hirani has submitted emails suggesting of professional behavior during those months, that doesn't count for anything?

him making a biopic on Sanju means he's guilty? Right right 😆

Btw he might be who knows but he might as well be innocent!

You never know what evil is hidden behind ones public face.

I remember this famous case where an senior police man who was respected and was in a high position was the reason for one girl I think school student's death and then the harassment that followed to cover it up resulted in her brother and father being affected too.

It was the Ruchika Grihotra case

This case is testimony of what people with power can do and get away with it
