Again,my question to you. How does someone prove they were groped or touched inappropriately other than coming out with their experience. Maybe if you can answer the question, we can talk about the court of law.

By proof court understand a video or audio or text or witness. In most cases of sexual assault, videos, audios and texts are seldom found. One doesn't make videos of oneself while getting harrassed! Audios, even if recorded, can be misinterpreted and denied by the accused party. The accused in rarely stupid enough to write or text his creepiness and if they are they try to erase the evidence. 🤢

That leaves out witnesses. People who saw something wrong or people who know the kind of person Hirani and this woman is. In this case, people on the Sanju sets have to come forward to clear the issue. People who have worked with Hirani and the woman have to be questioned. In short, unless some credible people from Bollywood speak up, we are never getting any concrete proof.

In such a situation, I as a woman feel I should support the victim who did speak with VVC and his wife...they not only empathized, even offered her a home for 2 days...Anupama went on record to make their stand clear...ELKDTAL posters sans Hirani name...a reputed journalist known for his stories saying this is true...a reputed news article from HuffPostIndia saying it...these cannot be ignored.

Even if we ignore his portrayal of women in his movies, I cannot ignore VVC disassociating from his money-minting powerful friend for a small fish assisstant if there was nothing to back the woman up.

if its done in public there should be witnesses who will testify

Men taking advantage of women in their workplace is a far common than a woman lying about it. If 1 out of 10 women lie then 9 out 10 women are also taken advantage of.

No, no one should warrant the benefit of the doubt. Everyone should be judged equally. If it was the other way around (hirani accusing the woman), would you give the benefit of the doubt to hirani?

This woman went to a woman first and her husband. Anupama and Chopra. She talked it out with them then went public. If she had some other motive she could have just asked for money and shut up.

So basically, anyone can accuse anyone and ruin their reputation with no proof. If I have a competitor or someone I dont like, I could pay a girl to make an accusation on that person to ruin their image. It will work because it seems like the"victim" is always right according to many on this forum.

Actually yeah. MeToo hasn't been a woman oriented issue at all. Men have come out too against their bosses. Females have come out against female bosses too. Gay men have come out too. To answer your question,yes. It takes plenty of courage to come out and say, yes I've been abused. It has taken decades for some to come to terms with.

Now with that trauma if people refuse to believe you, I can't even imagine. So always,victims first.

Also people should ask themselves why it's so easy to believe stuff about Alok Nath but not Hirani.Making successful movies doesnt add to anyone's moral credibility.

Disgusting. I would have been shocked a few years back. Not anymore cos even the quite, humble ones have the most shocking stories in their closet. If this gets a lot of coverage, watch the industry act holier than thou and condemn Hirani. When am certain they all know everything that goes on in the industry 😆

P.S. On a side note, have always felt VVC is a creep. So its funny that Hirani is outed and VVC gets to take the stand 😆
