You should instead read Gandhi's own autobiography"My Experiments with Truth" where he has unabashedly stated many eyebrow raising things. Be it eating meat against his religion, how he left his ailing father side bcoz he was craving for sex and how he regretted it that his father passed away and he was not by side, his confessions of visiting a brothel, his regret at treating his wife for his pleasure etc.

FYI, He didnot get the name Mahatma bcoz he was "Chaste". The word was given to him by people after he fought against Apartheid in South Africa using NON VIOLENCE as a means.

Gandhi was a sexual predator,anti-Dalit and Ambedkar and severely anti-black and very pro-caste system. I believe he himself has said a lot of things that are proof of these.

Nelson Mandela wrote in an article in 1995, "Gandhi must be forgiven those prejudices and judged in the context of the time and circumstances. We are looking here at the young Gandhi, still to become Mahatma, when he was without any human prejudice save that in favour of truth and justice.
