By connections, I mean big time producers. No one can have their daughters act in movies of big production houses without any connection or links. Most of the outisder actresses toil hard in either TV industry or win beauty pageants to get noticed. It's delusional to think that someone can just come in and get into Thekedaar's movies (someone doesn't even know the M of merit)

Sanjana acted in small blink and vanish roles in films like Rockstar and Hindi Medium. She has acted in several ads as a model, sometimes behind people like Alia. Her instagram is filled with pics of her in some ad in newspaper or a glimpse in some TV commercial. That's what outsiders do. That's how they make connections. If her dad was an influential producer it wouldn't have taken her this long to debut in a film that too living all the way across in Delhi. A quick glance on her instagram account shows the 'influential household' she is a part of. She is like any other aspiring model/actress.
