Simmba is has gone into overdrive on Monday and recorded strong collections through the day. The mornings and afternoon shows were ahead of Friday and there is a chance in the big centres that the evening will slow as people celebrate New Years Eve but the evening collections are also coming in super strong.

The film will surpass the Friday number as collections will be over 21 crore nett. Delhi / UP is sure to be over 4 crore nett and more than Friday and Gujarat is also more which means even Mumbai can be more than Friday. Some circuits could be a little less but when the two main circuits are gaining around 10% then its pretty certain the all India collections will also gain.

The Monday collections will now be in the 22 crore nett as per early estimates which is a huge number for Monday. The ticket rates have been held at enhanced rates which has helped. The pricing of tickets will get a little cheaper from tomorrow onward as the lower GST rates come into play. But whether this is implemented across all theatres tomorrow itself is another matter as the transformation from Entertainment tax to GST took a week or so to set across the country.

The change will not make a difference to the NETT rate of a ticket as that stays the same
